Ruben montoya

Colombian Director and Choreographer with 25 years of experience in theater, film, and television. He holds an Advanced Diploma of Art in Musical Theatre from the Australian Dance Performance Institute. Known for his work with artists such as Prince Royce, Wisin, J Balvin, ChocQuibTown, and for television productions on platforms like Netflix (“Ritmo Salvaje”, “La primera vez” T1 & T2), Prime Video (“A grito herido”, “Primate”), Disney Plus (“Siempre fui yo” T2), and Vix (“Consuelo” T1 & T2).

He has directed and choreographed school musical theater productions such as “Aladdin” and “El mago de Oz”, among others. At the university level, he has directed shows like “Dear Evan Hansen”, “Company”, “In the Heights”, and many more. At the professional level, he directed “Los últimos 5 años” by Jason Robert Brown, the first version of this play to be staged in the USA, in Orlando, Florida. He also directed “Daddy Long Legs” in Colombia and “León: un monólogo musical”.

Choreographer for important artists in the music industry such as J Balvin, Wisin, Yatra, Esteban, Martina La Peligrosa, ChocQuibTown, and most recently served as Artistic Director and Choreographer for the video album “Eterno” by Prince Royce.
